industry development practices and technologies. Regional travel is required,
as well as periodic travel to Redmond.
Job description : - Partnering
with IDC engineering leaders and HR/POC to support business direction and the
strategic plans for engineering teams and offer relevant learning solutions
- Participate in the
analysis and gap-identification for IDC engineering teams and driving both
local planning and awareness and planning for IDC sites in EE Global L&D
planning
- Manage program delivery
in IDC
- Support regional Dev
and Test Leadership Teams driving local initiatives
- Support EE strategic
initiatives, customized to the regional needs. This includes one or more of the
following
o Support the transition
to Services through presentations, intact team training, and consulting
engagement
o Evangelizing Scenario
Focused Engineering: leadership pre-meetings, intact team trainings, leadership
post mortems, custom consulting throughout the project cycle following training
delivery
o Facilitate the adoption
of the RAPID program to accelerate engineering processes
- Develop and drive large
scale onboarding programs (LEAP for college hires, Industry hires and Interns),
in collaboration with the BGs
- Delivering SDE and SDET
learning solutions; develop and customize learning solutions for the specific
needs in IDC and for global use, including foundation training, ongoing
technical training and advanced topics for experience engineers
- Supporting programs to
develop Senior and Principal engineers in the region
- Fostering a vibrant
Engineering Community through meet-ups
- Mentoring ICs and
managers in region
- Drive community
activities and events like the Engineering forums in IDC overall, and the
Garage initiative
- Support the IDC Innovation Awards selection process for
IDC
